Well hello! I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to serve as your brand new Spiritual Director! What an honor and a blessing. I have huge gratitude for the fabulous Interim Spiritual Director Rev. Nadene Rogers. She has served this community superbly.
This past week she explored cultivating receptivity, which is the perfect segue for this week: Let Your Soul Unfold. You see, there is a seed of Creative Genius inside of you that naturally takes root, grows, and blossoms.
It knows what is yours to be and do because It knows you, your talents, your purpose, and, therefore, what brings deep meaning and joy to your life.
With all of this inside of us, how then do we get lost, confused, overwhelmed, frustrated, stuck, and afraid? And how can we move forward into our greatest becoming? That is this week’s exploration. Together, let’s discover how to allow this inner Creative Genius to grow, lead, guide, and unfold in our daily lives knowing that we are intended to realize our Divine Potential both individually and collectively.
As I embark on this new adventure of leadership, I feel many things: enthusiasm, stress, optimism, overwhelm, nervousness, and appreciation. But, I also know that Spirit is unfolding through this community, through us, exactly where we are. The Universe isn’t holding out until we do x, y, or z. It is giving all of Itself right now, in this present moment. So, I also know that there are untold and exciting gifts simply waiting to be received.
Dr. Ernest Holmes said, “It is a wonderful experiment and a great adventure to make conscious use of the Law; to feel that we can plant an idea in Mind and see it gradually take form.” (The Science of Mind, page 271) Please join me as we begin this wonderful experiment and great adventure of being and becoming the Centre for Spiritual Living White Rock, a learning community dedicated to awakening to our Divine Humanity.
Truly, we are the seed and the blossom! Together we allow the Creative Genius of the Universe to grow through us, as us.
I hope to see you at my very first Sunday as the new Spiritual Director, on Sunday, November 3, 2019. A little birdie told me that there will also be cake to celebrate our 25th Anniversary as well as this new beginning. Yum!
