About the Event

Hey there! You're invited to join us at Elgin Heritage Park - large parking lot by the bird sanctuary it is beside Hisotoric Stewart Farm. We're coming together to celebrate the longest day of the year, Summer Solstice and Canadian National Indigenous Day.

Remember to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and get there at 6:30 PM to kick off the event. Rev. Tamara and guest musician Heidi McCurdy will lead this Taizé meditative experience, and it's going to be a beautiful and meaningful gathering.

The summer solstice holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for Indigenous peoples, symbolizing new beginnings and a fresh start. It's all about embracing positivity and leaving behind any past troubles. Let's come together, celebrate, and create some special memories.

One last thing - this event is all about connection and celebration. So, mark your calendars, and we can't wait to welcome you!
