About the Event
We envision a world in which we live and grow as One Global Family that respects and honours the interconnectedness of all life. In her book Mindful of Race: Transforming Racism from the Inside Out Ruth King says, “Bearing witness to racial suffering without turning away, we discover our humanity, our innate kinship.” We also discover our One Global Family. Using compassion, we say their names in order to stay present so that we can individually and collectively heal racism. This is the work of our times, the work we must do in order to truly live as One Global Family.
