You are invited to attend a Collaborative Conversation, on Zoom, on April 10 at 12:00 pm Pacific. You will spend two hours in conversation with a panel of your community elders that will be moderated by Rev. Terry Shea. The focus of this conversation will be the 3rd of the "Principles in What We Believe" by Ernest Holmes. "WE BELIEVE in the eternality, the immortality, and the continuity of the individual soul, forever and ever-expanding." This is the 3rd of the "Principles in What We Believe" by Ernest Holmes. The question is, "Do we believe this? Is there any support for that belief in the culture we are a part of?" The panel will explore “A Case for Elderhood in a Time of Trouble,” the subtitle of Stephen Jenkinson’s book "Come of Age", published in 2018. A cheeky quote attributed to Joyce Meyer says, "If you were accused of being a Christian, there should be enough evidence to convict you.” So is there any evidence in your life that you believe in what Ernest Holmes declared so emphatically in the 1st person plural? While there is no charge for this event, your financial gifts are always appreciated.
