The ongoing classes in Spiritual Psychology are the most important piece of what we offer at CPL. They are the laboratory where we learn the Principles and how to apply them to the practical aspects of our daily lives. They provide an opportunity for fellowship and friendship and a richer, more fulfilled life.



CURRENT CLASS

The Essential Emma Curtis Hopkins

This course in the teachings of Emma Curtis Hopkins is designed to move the committed student to a profound appreciation for the mystical underpinnings of the metaphysical teachings in twelve lessons.

Unveiling Your Hidden Power: THE CLASS is a spiral bound workbook, a "translated" text of Hopkins 12 lessons presented in modern language and includes daily practices.

Emma Curtis Hopkins, initially a student of Mary Baker Eddy (the founder of the Christian Science Movement), was eventually known as the 'teacher of teachers,' having taught most of the metaphysical teachers at the beginning of the 20th Century, including Ernest Holmes. She is a mystic, whose thought and spiritual practice is deeply rooted in Christian Scripture as well as the writings of the great philosophers and world religions. She continues to be a major influence on some of the best New Thought teachers today.

Textbook
The required text for the class is the Workbook Edition of Unveiling Your Hidden Power which can be purchased at the first class for a cost of $20.00.

Other recommended reading: Unveiling Your Hidden Power by Ruth Miller, Christian Scientific Mental Practice, and High Mysticism, both by Emma Curtis Hopkins.



THIS CLASS IS HELD ON MONDAY EVENINGS FROM 7 TO 9 PM at Semiahmoo House 15306 24th Avenue, South Surrey, located here.

Registration

The cost for the course is $250, which can be made by cash or cheque only. There are 15 spots available for the class. To register, simply reply to this email, or sign up at the Centre after the Sunday celebration. Payment in advance secures your spot in the course, but payments are also accepted on the first class if spots are still available.
